羊城晚报4月15日报道，正当上证指数一举突破4100点，b股和港股涨势如虹，创业板再创新高，连买菜的大妈都冲进股市挣钱，TVB突然宣布下周一重播《大时代》，以应对股市暴涨。于是，“高能预警”突然在老股民中响起:来了，“丁蟹效应”可能再现！
所谓“丁蟹效应”，是指自1992年郑少秋在电视剧《大时代》中饰演男主角“丁蟹”后，当郑少秋主演的电视剧开播时，股市下跌，投资者损失惨重的现象。“丁蟹效应”也在2007年席卷美国——2007年8月，《大时代》在美国播出，道琼斯工业平均指数6个交易日暴跌1202点，导致美国投资者崩盘。自1992年以来，这种巧合至少上演了33次，以至于出现了投资者高喊秋官“提前退休”的场面。
其实美国也有类似的现象。投资者称之为“好莱坞效应”，即每当涉及金融题材的电影热播时，美国股市就会崩盘。比如1987年奥利弗斯通的《华尔街》上映时，那年股市大崩盘，造成23%的跌幅，等等。
当然，对于券商来说，“丁蟹效应”更多的是巧合。招商证券香港投资银行总经理温天娜分析说:“因为有投资者相信这种现象，所以害怕相关效应应验，非理性抛售股票导致股市波动。”
既然是巧合，就会有不成功的时候。2005年，由郑少秋主演的《皇家懒人》上映时，股市并未遭遇大动荡，次年又推出了《浪潮风暴》，股市依然安然无恙。郑少秋还表示，如果“丁蟹效应”真的一针见血，他早就发了财，很多金融人士可能会被裁掉。“观察什么市场动态，关注我的动态，然后做投机就够了。”。
